A: No approval is required from the HOA. However, we recommend reviewing the
Deed of Restrictions to ensure your plans comply with subdivision guidelines.
Q: My contractor says I need a building permit—what should I do?
A: Contact the
Clinton Township Building Department for information on obtaining permits for sheds, pools, additions, and other home improvement projects.
Q: How do I report a boat, camper, or recreational vehicle parked for more than 48 hours?
A: Visit the
Contact Us page and select "Ordinances & Neighbor Relations." We’ll notify the homeowner of the subdivision rules.
Q: Who do I contact about a downed sign, pothole, or broken curb?
A: These issues are handled by the Macomb County Department of Roads. Submit a service request online at:
